As a partner of the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism, the Belgian Civil Protection carried out a transport of medical equipment from the European strategic reserve rescEU constituted in Belgium. On 9 April 2021, two Belgian Civil Protection trucks delivered surgical masks and medical gloves to Serbia. Through this cooperation between the FPS Public Health and the FPS Home Affairs, Belgium shows once again that it is a reliable and supportive actor in the framework of European assistance in case of crisis or disaster.
